No complaints whatsoever, enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was fantastic and gorgeous by French chef and had a lot of food. Our room was amazingly comfortable and amazing, had hypo-allergenic pillows. The personnel was perfect, and the host too. The location was spectacular - within walking distance of everywhere we wanted to go. Plus, it was 15 minutes by car to Wee House at Malin.

The staff were very good, and the deluxe double room we booked was clean. Location: the hotel was not far from one of the most wonderful places in Donegal, and the ocean.

The cozy atmosphere and lovely tea amenities made for a perfect start to our mornings at The Red Door Cottage.

We experienced some frustrating communication issues with the owner regarding our check-in details.

Charming cottage with warm hospitality

The charming ambiance of The Red Door Cottage enveloped us as we arrived. Every morning, we explored Donegal Town, its vibrant shops and parks, enriching our stay.

Our experience was tarnished by a lack of communication from the owner in critical moments. We encountered some difficulties reaching out for our check-in details.

Enjoyed exploring Triona Design, a fantastic shop in town, filled with unique local crafts. Our little kid had a blast playing in the nearby park, while we enjoyed some fresh sea air during our morning walks.

My wife says that the breakfast could benefit from more kid-friendly options.

The fireplace in our Beautiful Double Room with Bath was such a cozy touch. We enjoyed lovely tea and coffee from the electric kettle provided. It was a good way to start our mornings at B&B The Red Door Cottage.

We had some trouble with check-in communication.

It was concerning to find a cat roaming freely in the kitchen area, where food was left uncovered, raising hygiene concerns. The damp bed sheets contributed to an uncomfortable night's sleep, overshadowing any positives from the stay.

The beautiful view was the highlight of our stay, but we faced quite a few problems. There was a cat freely roaming around the kitchen, and it made us uncomfortable, especially with food left uncovered. The bed sheets felt damp, tough for us to get a good night's sleep. I wish there had been better communication with the owner regarding our stay.

We really enjoyed the lovely tea and cozy blankets provided during our stay. The beautiful view and warm atmosphere made for a perfect relaxing getaway. 😊

The room I booked had a very comfortable bed, an iron and ironing board, a work desk, and a stone fireplace, with lovely views of the garden.

Amazing location with beautiful views of the mountains and ocean, including Malin Head and Inishowen. It's right in the heart of town, making it super convenient to explore and enjoy everything around. 🌄

Great location! You can easily walk to all the key spots around here. 🚶‍♂️
